Custom Marching Band Show Design
Custom marching band show design means building your field show around your students, their numbers, their skill level, and the hours you actually get, instead of forcing a stock show to fit. I've designed over 200 competitive shows in twenty years, spent twelve summers on DCI instructional staffs, and judged BOA. My clients have won circuit and state championships, earned class promotions, and grown their programs in the process. I know how the best programs in the country get their sound, and how to scale it to the band in front of you.
How it works
We talk about your band. Who's actually in your band: who the leaders are, who your soloists are, who the kids are that are still developing. I'll help to highlight your strengths, and I'll give you a solid curriculum for the kids who are growing. We'll also talk about how to get the maximum bang for your buck with the size of your band, and how to best set your program up for success in whatever class you compete in.
Whether you have thirty kids on the field or two hundred, you're going to get the same effort and the same quality. And if you need help with your long-term vision, we can talk about that, too.
Band budgets vary wildly across the country. Every band kid in every program deserves the same gold-medal experience, regardless of their district's funding. That's why there's no price list.
Most conversations start in the fall, following the previous season. But it's never too late to get in touch to ask the question.
The first step isn't a purchase, it's the design brief. It tells me who your band is and does most of the work a long first phone call would.
