Wind Band

Ryan's works have consistently received awards and accolades on a national and international level. Given the quality and creativity of the writing, it's not a surprise that Ryan often receives commissions from bands around the country.

In 2024, zero to sixty and The Phoenix Rises were named to American Band College's "Bandworld Top 100," a list marking the essential works to be included in school band libraries.

In 2023, The American Prize recognized FOUR of Ryan's works. Shades of Red was named as a Finalist in the wind band category. Mandatory Social Distancing was a Finalist in composition for virutal ensemble, while also receiving a special citation for artistic achievement. Spirals and To Thee // From Thee were both Semi-Finalists in the wind band category.
