Cruisin'

Cruisin’ is a piece of music set up to give you the feeling of constant motion, like a Saturday drive down a coastal highway. As you move along, you’ll see some of the same sights time and again - beaches, rest areas, small little tourist-trap villages. Between those are other sights that catch your eye as you go along. Throughout the piece, you’ll find that same drive as the main theme comes back around, interspersed with sections that highlight different instruments within the ensemble and join each section with melodic fragments that keep a constant motivic flow to the entire work.
