Every(ONE)

Every(ONE)

Every(ONE) is about the moment you realize you aren't alone. It sits with the feeling most students know and few admit to, that your struggles are yours to carry by yourself, and then it takes that apart. The whole show turns on the idea buried in its title: everyone, and every one. We are far more connected in what we carry than we ever let on, and the show builds from isolation toward the relief of being seen.

A State Champion production, it trades spectacle for something a crowd feels in the chest, and it means something to the students performing it. The music is chosen to land that message honestly, from stark and searching to full and hopeful, and it gives a mid-size program an emotionally serious show with a reason to exist.

The music:

  • Spiegel im Spiegel (Arvo Pärt)
  • Orawa (Wojciech Kilar)
  • Everybody Hurts (R.E.M.)
  • You Will Be Found from Dear Evan Hansen (Pasek and Paul)

This show is rated Medium-Advanced, which lines up with a concert grade of roughly 2.5 to 4.5. That's an approximation. A featured soloist or small ensemble moment can sit toward the top of that range, while full ensemble sections built around visual impact stay lighter on the musical demand.

The rating leans almost entirely on rhythmic and technical difficulty. Keys and meters are chosen to stay band-friendly and to line up with the phrasing the drill needs, and instrument ranges sit inside the grade window rather than pushing its edges.

Permissions to arrange required for all selections.
