<<i • con • ic>> is a show that explores different interpretations of what it means to be iconic or different takes on the definition of "iconic."
The introduction uses iconic musical moments, including classical repertoire from Beethoven and Mozart, leading into a big moment from Queen's Bohemian Rhapsody.
The first production is iconic Americana, using folk melodies that have entered into pop culture with some help from various American composers.
The second production slows down for iconic love songs, conveniently compiled via the Elephant Love Medley from the movie Moulin Rouge.
A brief percussion interlude takes us through iconic villainy, including Night on Bald Mountain before heading into the finale, "iconic closers." This movement features more from Queen's Bohemian Rhapsody before bring in Pachebel's Canon in D, and finally ending with the last statements from Stravinsky's Firebird Suite.
This collection of iconic moments will surely become an iconic page in your band's history!
