Indoor Design | Indoor Consultation
The fall marching season gets all the glory, but the indoor season is where things get genuinely interesting. Smaller ensembles, tighter spaces, no weather excuses — and judges close enough to hear every single decision you made in the design room. White Mage Music has been in those design rooms, and we're here to help you make better ones.
For color guard audio, we build tracks that are actually designed — not assembled. We know what WGI, TCGC, TIA, KIDA, and Cavalcade floors sound like, and more importantly, we know what they reward. For indoor winds and drumline programs, we bring the same compositional depth and competitive awareness to the music side of your program that we bring to everything else we touch. And if you want a second set of ears on General Effect — the caption that either makes or breaks your final placement — that's a conversation we're built for.
What we're bringing to that conversation: 25 years of music education, a dozen years of drum corps design across DCI, DCA, and Drum Corps Europe, BOA regional and national experience, a doctorate in composition, and enough international design work to know exactly what it takes to compete against everybody. We've sat in the design room with championship programs on two hemispheres. We know what winning looks like from the inside.
Fair warning: we're not going to tell you your show is great when it isn't. We're also not going to bury feedback in so much diplomatic cushioning that you can't find it. You're paying for an honest set of ears and a practical plan to fix what's fixable. That's what you'll get. If that sounds like what your program needs, let's talk.
